Marji is also an indie author who publishes two abstract blogs and writes for numerous publications.

Marji has a personal story written for a telenovela. She is a survivor of a previous marriage where she was domestically and physically abused, as well as nearly killed via poisoning. Tragedy hit her life also with both of her sisters committing suicide between 2011-2020. Her sister’s 2020 suicide was covered by national news outlets due to its very public nature during the holidays.

While trauma hit Marji’s family life, she also struggled with stage four endometriosis which was eventually treated with two separate rounds of chemotherapy– which were unsuccessful. She went on to have a mandatory hysterectomy at age 30, three weeks before she met her present husband.

Marji is married to a civil engineer and they have Vivi, a shitzu puppy, and Chewi, a Lhasa Apso rescue. They welcomed Baby Dupuis via IVF in 2023. Marji continues to grow a stellar career and life, despite personal trauma. Her motto is that is she wants to turn her pain into a positive impact on the world. She refuses to go down with the negativity and instead uses it as fuel for her genuine writing and projects.
